I probably sucked a few of you in with that title. Actually, I did just sell my car. The one that the Stook will be replacing. The dealer says my build date is Monday (2/26/01) so I expect I will take delivery around March 29. I will drive my beater until then. I am really looking forward to this. I ordered in November, but it seams like five years ago. How do you guys protect yourself from the sun in this car? This will be my first convertible speeder, and the sun in Memphis is brutal.

As far as protecting it from UV radiation, get a UV rated car cover. There are lots...check out my man Trevor at H and A Accessories...they are a sponsor and the link is at the bottom of this page. Or Rob at Top Notch, they sell lots of covers, too...

hi, i'm new to this online forum, but i just picked up my red/black last night. why wait? up here in detroit, everyone buys ford, chrysler, gm simply because they get a discount working for one of them, regardless of shotty craftmanship & design... i know of two dealerships offering red/black @ msrp. let me know if you want their name. all you would need to do is fly up here, and drive it back!

Gregg - I was refering to my skin, not the car . I already bought a cover from Top Notch. My wife just shakes her head every time I get an accessory in the mail for a car I do not yet own.

Wasabe - I appreciate the offer man but the salesman I am working with is a friend of mine. Besides it gives me a chance to run up to St Louis with another freind in his C5 and spend the weekend partying with some other guys I know up there.

 

Won't that make it a tad hard to see where you're going.

Try a little sunblock and a ballcap; Texas sun is pretty brutal, too. Congrats on choosing the stook; you're going to love it.
