I am installing my console cover. It is a factory, 2003 vinyl piece. I am having a problem, however trying to fit in under where the stock radio once fit. The fittment seems to be impaired by the air bag system. Could someone advise if there is anyway to fit the felt part of the stock console cover around these items without cutting the textile?

i'm a little confused. where is the air bag system? I've installed a console cover (rick's) and had NO trouble getting it under the radio cover.

what i am installing is not "Ricks". It is the stock 03 console cover. I cut the trim anyway.

 

Sorry, when you mentioned a console cover, I inferred that you had an '03 and were installing Rick's for some reason.
