I was looking online at some potential s2000's and one in particluar was a MY02 Sebring Silver. Looking at the pictures, the interior looks Grey not black. Is the black interior of the pre 04/05 greyish and not dark black leather?

 

I have an '02 Formula Red with black interior, and my interior is without question, "black".

Maybe the one you are looking at had a custom interior swap done.

As far as I know a gray interior has never been an option on any USDM S2000.

No, Im actually talking about the Black interior. I have noticed it on a few other pictures posted on S2KI. Maybe its the camera?

 

It may be photo discoloration caused by camera flash/lighting conditions. That would be my guess.

I have a 2000 S with black interior. It is BLACK. Definetely not greyish.

 

unless its custom, s2k's dont come with any gray interior at all!
mines black, and its deff. black, not any shade of gray

The black interior got washed out when I took flash pictures of it. It looled grey-ish in pictured but it was VERY VERY black.

Grey was not ever an option in the US.


These are the EXACT same seats.

 

Thanks ruexp67, thats exactly what was wondering about. I new grey wasnt an option, but wasnt sure if the newer black was darker. Thanks for the pics, they cleared it up. From the looks of the washed out picture, i can see why grey wasnt an option!
