Default Interior Question (seat color)?

Hey everyone,

I DID try to search but couldn't find exactly what I needed. I'm looking at possibly getting an S2k:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

But I just wanted to make sure the interior color combo was legit. I'm not exactly sure if I've ever seen a Black AP2 with tan carpet, and Black leather seats? Is this from factory or am I just imagining things? Would the seats originally be Tan?

The reason I ask is i'm thinking if this wasn't a factory color combo, the car may have been broken into for seats in the past and may have been replaced with these black leather ones. If so, i'll try to use this as leverage to bargain down the price. I know theyre asking 19k for this Ap2 (after calling) and was like whoa, 69k miles on this too (pricey!)...if anyone can help me out here that would be great.

Hmmm. Also has ap1 wheels, center console, and radio door. I've never seen a black with tan carpet. Seems fishy to me.

That price would be a little high to me even without any issues.

Yeah, 04's did not have tan as a color option.

The interior color is not stock. Black 2004 S2000 came only with all black interior; black carpet & black seats. The tan carpet/console is from a white S2000. In addition, that car has the incorrect wheels. It has AP1 16 inch wheels rather than the stock 17 inch AP2v1 wheels. But, the most important thing of all is that the asking price is ridiculously high for a car of that year/miles. Wait, research and find a better deal on a better car.

Thanks for the replies guys. I knew you'd pull through for me! I've been looking for an S2k for like 6 months ready to pay cash, but I keep finding bogus deals or someone always beats me to the car by literally 1 day (or even hours!). Everyone keeps telling me to settle on a 4 door (like an Evo/Sti). That is NOT an option for me. S2k all day.

Thanks again. I don't think I'll be getting this car. Seems too fishy! ::goes back to lurking and hunting for an S2000::

Yeah definitely skip that one. Waaay overpriced and as others said not the right parts on it. Also missing the header heat shield so obviously something was messed with there.

I paid 4k less for my 05, and mine is in pristine condition and it had 38k miles on it. This car is unreasonably priced...

Also, isn't that an ap1 center console? I wouldn't buy the car because of that.

In addition to the other issues mentioned, that has to be the worst condition of a passenger seat bolster I've ever seen.
