Default Interior soaked...

I was hanging out tonight with this girl... Starbucks was closing, so we headed back to our cars to drive somewhere else. I had left my top up but windows down. Walking up, I see the outside of my car is wet and start to get a sinking feeling. I get closer and see my ENTIRE interior is wet. Seats, doors, dash, everything. It wasn't puddles or anything, it was more like someone sprayed it with a hose for a second and stopped.

Luckily, she had a towel in her trunk or I really would have been in trouble. I got as much water off the leather as possible. Drove the rest of the night with the top down to air things out. When I got home, I parked with the top up and windows cracked. Once it gets warm tomorrow, I'm going to open the whole car up and just let it air out.

Since it wasn't standing water or anything, this shouldn't have done any major damage... right?

On the bright side, we're going out again on Sunday.

I can't park my car on my driveway since my neighbor from time to time turns on her water sprinkler in total disregard of my car being parked on my driveway with top down. Instead of fighting her, I simply park my S in the garage. Some people are so inconsiderate.

You should ask your neighbor if you could help her angle her sprinklers so they don't get your car when it's in the driveway, most neighbors would be up for that I'm sure.

you'll be fine. my car sat out for a good 5 minutes while we had a ginormous thunderstorm. the car dries out pretty good on about 2 days with the top down.

If she uses a hose and sprinkler to water the grass:

Get a bottle of roundup or any other grass-unsafe weed killer. Disconnect the hose from the sprinker and fill it with the roundup.

Reconnect the hose, go home and relax.
