I dont know if I could bring myself to cut up an Invidia exhaust and weld a stock res. back underneath. I think the drone is awsome. my crx drones pretty hard but not as hard as the s2k.. I guess im just used to it.

Me too! I couldn't see myself cutting up a nice shinning pipe, but i can't stand the drone anymore! So, i sold it. I got the T1R 70mm now. It's also very loud, but there is almost no droning! Trust me, soon or later your going to get sick of that drone!

with a testpipe in, I think the drone is easily bearable and in fact I kinda like it now...sounds like a long purrrrrrrrr from a cat.

I'm also throwing some sound deadening next week as requested by some of my VIP passengers -- aka the mom and the girlfriend -- so I'll tell you how it is after that is done. I might bring my decibal meter and do some readings before and after

best sounding exhaust on any 4 cylinder you can get. nothing but pure deep sound, NEVER any farty rattly crap. no popping, nothing. it's a fantastic exhaust.

the exhaust gets quieter after you break it in, and you also get used to it. for long trips, i just use the silencers and it makes it very very quiet.

I have a love hate relationship with my invidia/TP. The sound is awesome. I get tons of compliments on it. But once in a while I wish it had a stealth mode like when a good song comes on. And my neighbors dont like it.

I agree, it would be nice to just press a button to silence it for a good song or a conversation with someone.

The sound is just to addicting to change back to the quiet / silent noise of the stock exhaust...I'm still to much in

As far as neighbors...bah they stay locked up in the house and never come outside so I don't care about them

I was just wondering,
if you have the older version of the invidia,
could you maybe buy the tip of the new version and upgrade the tip???
what is the differences between the old/new version of the invidia anyways???
