Invidia... Crapback?
Perhaps Invidia has changed with the V3. The sound is now muted and quiet at sustained speeds. No problem with radio or conversations.
Compared to stock, louder and lower during acceleration at lower speeds, muted at mid to high speed on main throughfares, hyway and interstate driving.
My description would be... a very pleasent exhaust all around to my ears.
The aftermarket exhaust (any brand) would probably have satisfied my expectations as "anthing different would be an improvment over stock".
Anyone who has the luxury of riding in different S2K's with different set-ups would be able to make a better decision on exactly what they liked and not have to rely on say-so's in forums like this.
Conclusion.... Research up close live and in person to get exactly what you want or, plunk your money down on anything that you believe you may like. I think your going to like the change regardless of the brand you ulimately choose to buy.

whats the price difference between the V3 and the Toda?
) and it was about half the price of the Toda. I got the Invidia for a little over 700.00 and bought the Toda for 1400.00.Personally I wish I would have just bought the Toda in the first place, because I took a loss on the Invidia
The Single Ti's I had, I exchanged the JIC for the Magnaflow and when it broke it was sent back to the manufacter so no loss on those two.
I have had the V3 since the middle of October, and 4K later....I absolutely love it. Up until two weeks ago, my S2000 was my daily driver...so the majority of the time I have owned the exhaust I have driven the car every day. It is very loud, and MOST people will find it unbearable. But as a car enthusiast, and mainly a sports car enthusiast, the Invidia brings out the beast that lies within the confines of one of the finest engines ever mass produced. Not only does it now sound like an F1 car, I love barreling down a two-lane and shattering the silence and tranquility of isolated portions of Kansas.
My only complaint is that the exhaust sounds quite a bit better with the top down, the top being up manages to muffle the sweet melody that the Invidia produces.
I believe that in this case, if you are anti-Invida...."If it's too loud, you are too old."

I had the tips spot welded in three little spots on each tip. I've had two track days and some other driving since and no mo' rattles.

Then I popped the rivets out and put new ones in then it was all good
