Default invidia exhaust legal

i live in tx and i just put on my invidia exhaust... its really really loud and i like it alot. my question is can i get a noise violation for this... tickets suck? and if you can how close is it. has anyone been hasseled for it yet

check your local law i guess. the members in your regional section might have a better idea what it is.
in ny you cannot have a 'modified' exhaust. you'll definitely get a fix tix for an invidia here even driving mildly.

Tecinally the Invidia exhaust is not modified tho. It is a completely new system.

Generally, the law construes "modified" as non-OEM.

i was concerned, too. i have been using the invidia with silencers a few months and even with cops right next to me i have not even received a glance.

how many ricers are there in your area with aweful sounding exhausts. if there are many, i would think that loud exhausts are "tolerated".
