got rid of my Spugen single Ti and just installed the Invidia with Megan TP. Sounds very mean and sounds amazing at the higher RPMs.

Spugen single is by far louder.

good thing about the invidia is that it comes with silencers. Fitment is also A+

From reading the posts here, nobody seems to have had the exhaust for very long so I will try to add. I got my first Invidia in March '03 and ran that until my track "off" in Oct '04.

On the track and no testpipe, many folks at FC'04 said the sound up and down the straights was F1! It is loud when compared to stock... no doubt. But it is nowhere near the ear-splitting decibals that some would have you to believe. There is a small window of rpm's that you learn to avoid if the drone bothers you. And as others have stated, it's not "ricey" like some other fart cans.

After we put all the pieces back together a la Humpty-Dumpty , I sold the first edition of the Invidia and picked up the second run(blue-tipped). Still great sound. I currently run a testpipe with the exhaust as my sc setup requires a little more flow. I did not want to give up the looks and sound of the Invidia even though I know a single exhaust might add a few more horses- currently at 387 rwhp.

Lastly, my wife the sound. It's true! But then again, we're older(39) and love motorcycles/muscle cars, too. Total time owning the Invidia = 3 yrs. Total mileage = 50k+

IMO, it sounds ricey when new. The drone is very unrefined and nasty - no mfg. would ever let their car go out the door w/ such a bad drone.

i have had my invida for quite some time now and the only problem i ever had was getting this rediclous rattle every time i would drive it really hard. (this is like 1 1/2 years into having her).. so i go crazy trying to figure out what is was.

Turns out the invidia logo was only tacked on and 2 of the welds broke. I ripped the logo off and it looks 10x better and the innoying rattle is gone!

Awesome exhuast!

Also, I think the Invidia sounds better in my friends ap1's than it did in my ap2. But sounds awesome nonetheless

I've had the invidia for quite some time, and it's the best exhaust I've ever heard on any 4 cylinder. or even a 6 for that matter. Nothing but clean deep sound. It NEVER sounds ricey, raspy, or rattly.
