Off course you are going to get mixed replies here depending on who bought what, but here are my 2 cents:

I have an Invidia
- drone is ridiculously loud
- tips tend to come loose and rattler and need to be re-riveted - this can be a serious pain in the @$$
- Sounds excellent WOT in VTEC
- very small performance gains

HKS (I have heard)
- also drones
- sounds quite good
- none to negative effect on performance (knew someone who has the HKS with DC sports header and he could not pull away from my old Type R)

I am sure you will get plenty more opinions in this regard!

Good luck with your purchse

You could not compare two less similar exhausts.

I have not heard the Invidia in person but I have an HKS and I absolutely LOVE it.

As a previous owner of the Invidia here is my contribution.

1) Greatest/louder drone ever! In total sound is a dream IMO.
2) Greatest look ever. I rate this Exhaust as the best dual looking! Completely changes the overall rear view of the S2000.
3) Tips start rattle after 5 months or so. You should revit the ti-tips again.
4) 3.7Hp gain and noticeable torque after 6000rpm. and

IMO, Invidia rocks the hizzouse! I had an Invidia N1 exhaust on my STi and plan on getting the Invidia exhaust on my S2000.

No dual on the market has any gains or losses to speak of. +/- 3-5 horsepower is not noticeable. Your car may perform +/- even more than that on a day to day basis...

Only a single can show gains to brag about. The HKS sounds really sweet though...

It is torque that matters not the hp's.
