I wonder why you gave him the hands down

 

invidia sounds amazing and makes the most hp for a dual. i run the HKS because i love the mellow v-6'ish exhaust note.

 

I was in this exact dilemma about two weeks ago and ended up with the V3 Invidia. I figured if I was going to pay for a part to put on my car, I would want something more than just sound. Invidia has been SAID to give some power, unlike the HKS(but remember, I've only read about this and couldnt find any dynos to prove it). The Invidia V3 is LOUD. My ears really started to hurt at first but after about a week the sound lowered (either that or my eardrums were already ripped up ). But with Invidia, at least you can put silencers on them if it's too loud. I vote for Invidia V3 because there are supposedly gains on it compared to the HKS.

 

Can you clarify what you mean by 'rasp'? Do you mean you get some 'braap braap' on the overrun?

I just picked up my S2000 and have been shopping for exhausts. I'd hate to do a mod for just sound, so are there any links to dyno results for Invidia?

 

no that rasp you get on down rev i get any throttle position above 5.5k

 

Listen to my video that someone posted earlier so you can hear what "rasp" is with the testpipe.

Its why it was posted, no one can really describe sound using words.

Invidia is just way too damn loud, and the drone is horrible.

 

Alright, I think I know what you guys mean by 'rasp' now. On your video, on the 3k and 6k standing rev, when you get off the throttle, the 'brrrrrrrr' that occurs right after you're off the throttle, right?

The car sounds like a race car at WOT, the flyby sounds great. Most excellent!

if you got the money, HKS, invidia is to damn loud
