If they create more power why wouldn't Honda use them in the first place?

>>>So do iridium plugs REALLY make more power? I mean many folks said "oh it's better, better idle" etc... but when ever you place old plug with new ones, this is always the case...... <<<

Iridium is very durable in this application. If there is any improvement it si likely to be due to the *tiny* tip diameter. Some cars like a small tip and racers have been known to file the large conventional steel tips to a point or nearly so. This lasts just a few hundred miles - not very practical, even if your plugs are EZ to reach. Iridium allows a tiny tip to be used without the super short lifespan.

If your ignition sytem is up to it, plugs tend to make less and less difference. That is, cars with crummy ignitions tend to show more variation as plugs are changed. With the 100,000 mile S2K plug life, I'd also suggest considering trying larger gaps. Life would still be very long and often there are part and/or WOT benefits.

I have a source to get the 22 or 24 (sc or non sc s2000)denso iridium plugs for $9 each.
I called a major denso distributor and they are interested in getting s2k's using them cheap. They just want people to use these plugs and either put a denso license frame or sticker on their s2000. I don't see anything wrong with a denso sticker under the hood...and the license frame isn't bad either. Let me know the interest and political issues here - I don't want to upset anyone, just trying to get cheap prices for good gear for my s2000...and if I find a good enough deal, I'd like to share it. I can create a gb or post a phone number.

Hey... I'll put large stickers in our racing car if they give me a good supply of IK24s.
