I was driving into the parking lot of my local Safeway when I spotted a brand new (no plates) Suzuka Blue S2000 with its top down. I made eye contact with the driver and waved. Then it registered who was driving the car. . .Hammer (M.C. Hammer for those of you who remember). He gave me a "peace sign" back.

It's been a while since I've seen him around town. He's usually in his convertible Rolls and I see his wife and kids ocassionally in their Hummer.

 

I wonder if he listens to his own albums with the top down

Yeah, he filed for bankruptcy but I remember seeing an interview where he commented that he's poor by rich people's standards but doing fine by most people's standards.


I should have been carrying some S2ki cards with me!


He's actually a very nice guy from what I've heard.
