Default Jamstrait LED blinkers don't fit

I just recently received the 3157 LED Bright Amber bulbs from 2Kracing.com (they get them from jamstrait) and was surprised to find they don't fit into the headlight housing.

The lights work fine otherwise, and I definitely want to use amber LED lights.

Does anyone know of a good LED light bulb array that works well and fits? I tried a search, but found no mention of this problem. Thanks.

Use the ones that you got in your sidemarkers...(you got the same ones I got from 2KRacing)

For the turn bulbs, use standard amber and put tape over a strip of the light and paint the rest silver with a high temp paint.

Worked perfectly for me!

The running lights work fine.... the blinker bulbs don't. I have heard of the "paint the amber bulb" trick, but I prefer to use LEDs. Just a personal preference. I'm wondering if anyone knows of LED 7440 replacements before I go find some amber bulbs and paint them.

You can get the 194's from www.2kracing.com and maybe you can get the loader there too. Go to Jamstrait.com and do a little looking.

The 194s are for the running lights only, but thanks for the info. I'll look around a bit more.

I have yet to see a set of LEDs for the turn signals that are bright enough to be seen clearly in daylight.

I found these, but haven't tried them yet. As far as I've read, everyone with the LED blinkers blinks fast, if that is the problem you are referring to.
