Default January 26 and the top down.

Here I am in northeastern Ohio and I drove home from work with the top down. The last time I did that was around December 7. It was so nice to feel the wind in my hair and the sun in my face. Oh well, it's supposed to snow by the end of the week.

72 yesterday, 75 today in Savannah, tomorrow 76 sunny, and Wednesday 78. Don't understand how anyone could stand to live up north with a S2000.

Sorry that I can't relate, I have never driven mine with the top up! In addition, the car has never been driven in the rain.

The benefits of Southern California (and the fact that this is a third car).

Enjoy the nice days when you get them!

All in all, it just makes one appreciate the good days when they aren't expected. I saw on the weather that in 1977 it was -10 on this date here.

Here in balmy SE Michigan, temps reached upper 50's. And for January that is sweet Parked my car next to "Snow Mountain" today, a giant pile of snow accumulated from the entire parking lot during the last two months. The real Spring comes in April.

It got up to 69 degrees this afternoon, so I was chomping at the bit to get out of the office at 5:00. One of my employees unwittingly delayed me though, wanting to discuss BUSINESS (of all things). I finally said, "I'm sorry, but I've got an appointment I've got to make. My appointment was with Mr. Blue Sky.

Dang... should've popped ELO into the CD player!

Tim

P.S. Am I the only one who uses a rolled up bath towel as a short-term rear-window tube (to keep the plastic window from forming a crease while it's retracted)? One towel there and one laying flat on the deck under the top (to keep the other side from rubbing against the deck) seems like a pretty good short-term solution. Besides, they come in handy if I decide to stop and give the car a quick wash & dry on the way home...

We passed a couple guys in an identical silver/red STOOK yesterday in Walpole, MA with the roof down and huge smiles on thier faces. Kind of made us feel like losers driving with the top up....
