So the Japenese are getting the 2.2L motor too, eh? (per Google translator, "It loads the 2.2l engine which pursues smooth acceleration efficiency.")

"smooth and linear acceleration"

That's boring! The M5 I drove was objectively fast, but so linear that it was not terribly exciting. AMGs are that way to me as well.

Give me the increasing rush of acceleration with the little VTEC kick over "linear" acceleration any day!

(I'm exaggerating of course.... I'd love a VTEC kick AND a V8 with 400 horsepower...)

cool, maybe we'll start seeing parts specifically made for the 2.2 from Japanese companies now.

From this picture i kind of like the way the new seats look in red. Kind of M3-ish. I still don't like how they look in black.

If the google translation is right, this would be brown rather than red.

Now rated at 242PS, instead of the previous 250PS. Looks like they now have the exact same engine the US does, as opposed to when the JDM 2.0 engine had higher compression and more power than the USDM 2.0 engine.

Maybe in '08 they'll finally offer us a Type R...

So much for the rumors of the "new" S2000 being that four-seater, hard topped thing. Those drawings look like a cross of the Sports 4 and FCX concepts. Neither of which have the F22C from what I can tell.
