i just had my j's strut bar & engine torque damper installed....ever since the install, the shift knob shakes a whole lot. especially in vtec in gear 2,3,4. anyone else have this same thing? mine shakes a lot, but im guessing its normal since the vibration has to go somewhere. but just checking anyways. thanks in advance

 

you are right, the vibration does have to go somewhere - but the whole point of the etd is that it absorbs the vibration so it doesnt make it down to the shifter.

Who installed it and was it done correctly?

It should reduce vibrations from the gearstick by up to 70% - you should double check the installation.

 

Better still, post a picture of it installed.
