Cool J's Racing Carbon and metal !

Hi Guys,

Time flied by fast and 2006 is almost over this year we have accomplished 2nd place at the Super Street Time attack with the time of 1:56.771 and it is the FASTEST time (so far, correct me if I am wrong) at Buttonwillow raceway CW13 and this should be the FASTEST Street S2000 (USDM) but ofcourse this is not officially declared.

I hope I can continue this title, more work has to be done. The engine power has been maxed out and there's no more weight that I can take off inorder to maintain the streetability of the car.

I have the following parts sitting here for the next upgrade

J's Racing dry carbon doors -weighs 2.4kg
-Do I wanna kill myself ? I am still debating on the doors, should I keep it or should I sell it.......we'll see.

J's Racing reinforced subframes
-This is a go for sure I think the chassis has to be reinforced before it gets fatigued.

I will keep you guys posted on this never ending project Somemore cool worthy upgrades coming up

Thanks
Ben

Good Job!!! Hope you continue with the Time Attacks? Please post when you do We would love to come out and cheer you on.

I think those doors are sooooooo tempting to put on.....You wouldn't want to drive that car everyday anyway. Too many vandals. Just keep it streetable'ish.

Wow! Js subframes are nice! I wonder how much flex the OEM ones endure compared to those. Also what about your upper control arm mounts? I read in the Racing + Competition forum that those are prone to stress damage.
