Default J's Racing intake

Searched but didn't find much info on this intake (possibly the term "J's" confused it?).
Anyway, does anyone have an installation guide for this intake? If not, how much of a modification must be done to fit a stock 02 S2000? Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to the intake. J's Racing intake

You will need to cut the OEM hood just like the Mugen Intake instalation requires and also some cutting is involved on your OEM bumper. Also the OEM grill should be removed unless you intend to trim it.

You will have to check your hood. If you post a picture I will tell you.

Dayam, my car is about 300 miles away from me. I'll get someone at home to take a picture. I think I will, but I'll double check. Is CF harder to trim out?

You will have to cut the underside of your c/f hood for sure. Your not actually trimming the c/f part, I believe the frame is made of fiberglass...so all you prolly will need is a dremel and a cutting disk. But be careful you don't cut through the fiberglass and into the c/f

Does anyone have a diagram or a how-to on this? I could only find the Spoon how-to on this site.

if you can read japanese...this will be a plus...but its pretty horrible instructions though, from what i here.

you also need to take off your bumper and your front cross member bar (thats right behind the white bar). i hear that you can still have that on, but in my case there was no way it could have been done imo.

ready to be put in.

stock air box out.

you will have to drill two wholes into your body frame to keep the snorkel fit and tight.

if you can see the small black hoses? well, the stock one is metal tubes; that needs to be removed re-tubed with a longer one. in my case it was to short for the stock one to be used. be sure to use the the same quality as the OEM black tube.

good luck!

Just FYI.

I did not have to take off my front bumper or any cross member bars. I just had to take a plastic thing that diverted air. I also did not drill holes into my body frame...as the intake is stable enough without drilling hole. The install is not hard at all...the only hard part is actually cutting your hood.
