Default j's racing mufflers...

instead of paying $1000+ for an exhaust... i was thinking.. why not get two j's racing mufflers (i want dual exhaust for my ap2) and getting a custom catback made for my car.

has anyone tried this?

i'd like it to be slightly louder than stock. i had an rsr on my del sol and i LOVED it. deep quite, and NO buzzing.

i dont want anything like the invidia.

any reccomendations on what to do? replace both rear mufflers, and leave stock mid-section?
replace everything and add a bigass resonator?

does j's just sell the mufflers? if they do i guess you could do that but depending on the cost of the mufflers it could prove to not be very cost effective.

Even if they do, your custom exhaust will cost even more

If you want slightly louder than stock I would not suggest 2 J's mufflers. Pretty sure they dont sell individual mufflers anyway.

Thats just the silencer for the muffler, not the actual muffler. Hence the $52.15 price tag.
