Default JDM AP1 mainkey, not a TRANSPONDER KEY

hi guys..another topic..
i have spotted a JDM mainkey on ebay,
but the seller said it is not a TRANSPONDER KEY and only for imported models,
my question is, can i still use it to start up my car? or i have to do some modifications?

nonetheless, i will buy the key anyway coz it is really attracting

That key looks like my house key, not the S2000 key.

hmm...ok..
coz i have only got one key for my S.
so..i dont know if it is the mainkey or the spare key.
does Ap1 main keys have the s2000 logo or just the honda logo?

ap1 main keys just have the H logo on them. to make this key work you have to implant your immobilizer chip onto it. the only other way that it will work is with aftermarket ecu's like aem or get the japanese ecu which doesnt have immobilizers built in

but how can i implant the chip in the new key?
i have to cut a hole in the new key and implant the chip?

that's because you have an AP2 key, the AP1 key is a much more traditional style.
