Default Jdm Headlights

I want to buy JDM headlight Housings.. All the sites that sell the Headlight assemblies say NoN HID. I was wondering what that meant. IS there any modifications that have to be done to the lights>>..OH and also how do you take the 2 silver ground wires connected to the ballast into the housings off>> thanks

I think that means they don't come with the "ballasts" or H.I.D. hardware, just the headlight housings. All S2000's are H.I.D. equipped. With the JDM lights you do need special hardware. Go to ricks2k.com, he sells these products.

As stated above, non HID means they don't have the ballasts. Also, as stated above, you should be able to download a pdf instruction set for the clear diffuser install from Rick's, it has instructions for removing the ballasts.

Yellos2

Look at our installation page, there is a PDF on Headlight shipping. This covers how to remove the HID ballasts, bulb, etc.

Since you have a new S2ki.com user, you might want to look at our headlight diffusers. You install these in your OEM headlights (again look at the installation page for install details). It is a lower cost option for the clear corners look.

Take a look at this thread for installed pic of our diffusers. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=95841

Nope eveything fits in the JDM that was in the USDM except the turnsignal bulbs and sockets. You have to either glue the USDM sockets in place, or replace them with JDM socket (we sell those too) and buy bulbs (see above part numbers)
