How can you tell the diffrence from the JDM headlights vs a Modded USDM headlight? i.e. the diffusers from Rick's

JDM headlights has a clear diffuser just like rick's JDM style one plus right above the halogen lights (circle with chrome tip around it) is chrome instead of black like ours
correct me if im wrong

 

Where can I get a pair of the JDM one? How much am I looking at? Or how hard is it to put the clear diffusers in? I just don't want to crack or melt my stocks! Thanks!

 

Not exactally. The VGS headlights have chrome HID housings but the regular JDM lights are exactally like ours (black) except for the clear corners.

It is quite difficult to determine whether someone has rick's diffusers or real JDM headlights. The real difference would be the beam pattern, since JDM's are reversed from USDM headlights (the light pattern on JDM's are higher on the left, while they are higher on the right for USDM's).

As for the chome projectors, only the 02/03 JDM's/EURO/AUS models have them. The previous years have regular black housings.

 

If you are talking about the headlights assemblies themselves - all the above is true -

if you are actually talking about the difference between clear USDM and JDM diffusors - the JDM are smooth and flat (relatively) and the USDM have the same 4/5 ridges on them as the stock orange diffusors.

Ive pissed off a lot of oncoming cars with my lights, but I figure shit, theyll swerve to avoid me so i dont have to worry about oncoming traffic.
