Several other people and I are looking to purchase JDM keys for our cars. In order to get the ball rolling I emailed a shop and was told there are 8 different part numbers for the JDM keys. Does anyone have any idea which part number is the correct one to fit our US market cars?

What is the difference in the keys?....

 

i've raised this question before and i haven't gotten a reply: i called japan, talked to a parts supplier. my japanese is not very good so we had a bit of a problem communicating, but from what i understand, the parts supplier said that there are "8 types of S2000 keys, which one do you want?" i said "why?" he said something about different build (i'm assuming VIN) number lots.

that's all that i know, and since i have no idea which lot it is, i couldn't order it
