i think it's 'cause of a gasket of some sort. search for it, you'll definately find it.

Compression for the JDM version is 11.7:1. Compression for the USDM version is 11:1. This is the gasket difference that moyopoyo spoke of. This is the main difference. But if you put this thinner head gasket on be prepared to run octane booster all of the time. 11.7:1 is too much for 92 octane...

Doesn't the USDM version have 237 also? I thought it was just rounded.

UK is 240ps which is ~237bhp.

JDM is 250ps

Its one of the few reviews where the boxster come out ahead of the s2000
There are a lot of articles where the S2000 comes 'second' to a Boxtser ... I have seen a fair few of them. Actually most articles that are not from US will have the Boxster win the comparision. Though, thanks for scanning it as it is a very nice read.
