Just got my JR filter. This is plug compatible and a specific S2000 part.

Price was 64.49 euros. Don't know if they are available in the states, but I'm sure that someone could organize something.

I'll be testing using my usual method and will report back any results.

Comes out to $55.35 US + whatever shipping would be. I think it would be good, but doesn't offer any sheilding. I'd like to hear some responses on how it performs before a group buy is initiated so the expense of shipping them over will be worth it.

Keep me, and everyone else posted!

i don't think shielding is needed if you keep it in the stock airbox.

I recall seeing the link to JR's site and they claimed performance improvements.

I'll sign up for one. At least comparable if not better than a HK imo. I really like the securing plug which is like the stock and the throat shape.

Just did an initial in gear acceleration test.
From 6Krpm to 9Krpm with the stock filter I got 11.45 seconds and 10.84 seconds with the JR filter. I just did one run, so take this number with a grain of salt, and consider as well that the stock filter has 25,000 kms on it, so it's not spotlessly clean.

Still, it looks promising...

The site is www.jrfilters.com. It's a french company maybe "le car" can organize something for you guys...

4th. Slight downhill, driver and passenger aboard. I have used 4th for a reason.

Actually, two.

One: 3rd would be too quick, accuracy would be affected and small changes would be harder to detect.
Two: 5th would take me to 220km/h and I would have to select the place to test carefully...

Do you think that's good or bad?

Luis,

Did you buy it in Portugal?
If yes, where.

Obrigado,
