Js2k LED light issues
Hi everyone,
I noticed the 194/168 LED wedge bulbs that I bought from Joey (js2k.com) both went out for my parking lights. Not sure why, so I took out the LED wedge bulbs and tried the stock ones. They worked. The side marker turn signals work with no problem. The trunk light works no problem.
The license plate bulbs also went out, so I took out Joey's LED wedge bulbs and played around with the wire and put it back in the socket and they now work. For some reason, the parking light bulbs dont work and yes, I even tested them out in the trunk socket and license plate socket. Its the bulb that is dead. Joey is a good guy and will replace them no doubt, but was wondering if any of you had issues?

Joey is a great guy. I told him about my issuses with the parking light as well. He said he sent me a new set but I never got them.
so instead of bothering him. I went to look at the lights. I found the problem. I thought mine were going out too. What the issue was, is that the little wires on the light are too close to the centers and can fall out of the connectors. U just have to figure or play around to get the little wire farther out to the sides and plug them into the connector that way.
To specify the issue of my light, I would take them out and put them back in and they would work for a while, then go out. If I wiggle them the would work. That would make sense that the wires just too close to the center. When I put the lights in, the wires would probably sit close to the edge and then over time the vibrations would move the wires out of the connectors. And once they were out, when I wiggled them, the wires would contact the connectors and light up. Once I took the lights out and made the adjustments, the lights have been staying one ever since.

I have had a lot of issues as well. Joey has been great, but something is frying the crap out of the little parking light and rear license plate lights. I have been away from the car for awhile now but will investigate a lot more when I get back. All I really tested was putting the stockers back into the sockets to see if they worked, and they did.
I have LEDs everywhere on the car from him, and the only issue was with one parking light - the plastic base was too slim for the plug and it kept disconnecting. It sounds pretty common with that light.

This spurred me to go mess with the bulbs and sockets on my car. I noticed that there should be a click when the LED is locked into place. But typically, the LEDs last for quite a long time, and LEDs not lighting up usually has something to do with the contacts. I've been using the same LEDs on my cars for more than a year now without any trouble.
I'm sure that the plastic housing is also subject to some manufacturer margin of error causing them not to sit in the socket well enough. This is why I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I've done my testing with many different LED manufacturers and I stand behind my (their lol) products (and my research).
I've currently going thru and testing each LED I currently have and I'm fixing the prongs so they should make good contact with the socket and not fall out.
Luckily this issue only affects a small percentage of the LEDs. If yours isn't working, I'd be more than happy to replace it for you.

Hi guys, I tried playing with the metal wires but no matter what, the lights didn't work. Its weird because I've had them for about 2-3 weeks with no problem. They just went out. Its not a socket issue I dont think, because the stock bulbs work fine. Joey, like I said, maybe I got a bad batch? Thanks for making it right.
