Thanks, I got the code resolved. There's a Honda dealer on the way home from work and last night they took the time to tell me some of the info I needed, and get the code entered into the radio. Probably the most important info I needed was how to open the fuel filler door!

It has 53,000 on it. Wish it was lower but all seems well. No crunchy gears. Paid a little over $17k. I think that was a good price coming from a dealer.

I'm not yet sure if this car is a male or female, and it hasn't told me its name yet.

[QUOTE=WAFlowers,Feb 13 2007, 11:22 PM] Is there a FAQ that anyone can point me to that will summarize the info I'm looking for?

For oil changes, trust only someone who knows how to be gentle with your aluminum oil pan. I recently replaced my oil pan, because the people I trusted stripped the threads where it drains. The oil pan's threads are easy to strip if you tighten the plug too much.

Manuals are commonly available on eBay. Just search for "S2000 manual 2003". One'll come up eventually.

The dealer gave me a replacement manual for free when I bought my S2k. I recently discovered the second console compartment (thanks S2ki!), and found my manual there. So now I have two manuals. It's nice to keep one in the car, and one in the house.

Moral of the story? Check your second console compartment, which to many people (including myself) is/was a hidden compartment.

No kiddin'. It IS a Honda. Never owned one that it wasn't easy to strip. Bunch of (oil change "mechanics" not Honda).
