Default Just bought a 2001 s2000

I just purchased my s2000 last week, and I have a few questions. I have tried to do searches for past threads but they are all confusing and seem to say something different in each thread.

I was wondering what you all thought was the best Dual Exhaust for the s2000 for performance, the best CAI, and headers. Also, what else do you suggest to upgrade to make my baby go even faster?

Sorry if this is just a repeat of old questions, but I was just looking for something all-inclusive in a single thread.

Thanks

I think the BEST exhaust is Amuse, but it is loud and expensive. Most people have HKS, Spoon, Mugen or Comptech exhaust. As for Intake, just buy J/R filter and replace the stock ones. And you can ether get Spoon or Mugen headers.

Where did you buy your S2000 from and how much did you pay?

Has anyone had any experience or know of people that have the pipes and or CAI from RM Racing in Scottsdale AZ? Thanks in advance.

Oh, one other thing to please. If you follow the link for the exhaust system look at the middle picture. What is that one piece that goes off to the right towards the drive shaft? I have seen that on other systems also but do not know what it is.

Just to let you know, the Intake/Header/Exhaust upgrades will not do much in getting you more power on this car. The Honda engineers have pretty much gotten as much as they can out of this car.

The only way to really get some massive power is to go forced induction, with either a supercharger or a turbo.
