Just bought an S2000, any driving tips?
Hi everyone, I have just bought an 2001 S2000 and wonder where I should pay attention when driving. (I lived in Hong Kong, so the car Spec could be a bit different.)
Before I bought this car, I used to drive a Lexus IS200, which was also a rear wheel drive, how different would it be compared with the S2000? (if anyone had similar experience.)
FYI, my ex IS200 is installed with a TRD 1.5way LSD, with suspension setting such that the car is neutral to oversteer most of the time. I have heard that S2000 is a very tail happy car, and tend to "snap" oversteer upon reaching the limit. Is it true? Should I soften the rear antiroll bar and input more negative camber to compansate?
Also, I am quite sure the stock S2000 comes with a (torsen?) LSD, how does it perform compared to a tradition clutch type power lock?
Many thx.
(Just read you offical colour thread....... you guys have beautiful cars.
