The bumper mounts up with no mods and it doesnt matter if you have ap1 headlights or ap2. Some of the bolts dont line up for the fender lining underneath but it doesnt really matter every other one lined up, you cant even tell. If you get the ap2 bumper remember to get the grill, tow hook cover and hardware. As far as the price I sratched the whole front of my car running into something so the body shop repainted the hood bumper and fenders which cost about $3500 for a factory quality paint job. Since they were already painting the bumper they shaved the emblems for free.

Good look. Is there something better about the AP2 headlights over the AP1s?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's just the design(cosmetic) that's different.

Did you cut some of the end of the front support beam? If not you may see a bubble pop up due to rubbing. It has happened to me and others.

yes, I was under the impression that you had to chop off the corners of the support bean for best fitment. Hope you don't have a problem.

And I've never heard anything better about the AP2 headlights, I think its just cosmetic.

Looks great! Does the AP2 bumper bolt right up to an AP1 with AP1 headlights? I am considering changing the bumper to the new style, but don't want to do the headlights. Also, any different hardware needed, or just buy a new bumper and get it painted? I was surprised to see that the AP2 bumper is only $230 from majestic! Ad paint and I will still be under $500.
It is best to get the new AP2 fender liners(hardtopguy.com) with this bumper and cut the corners off. OEM looks alot better and all the bolts fit perfectly.
