why are you saying I should buy a pre 04? I already have an 04 and was curious if anyone put a F20C in an 04. Are you saying that everything om the pre 04 is better?
Idunno, maybe I should buy an '04 Z06 and put in an LT1.

If I were you, I would sell the 04, and buy a used 03. If you like the appearance of the 04, then replace the exterior and interior panels to make the 03 look like an 04. Compared with the cost of buying an F20C, I think this plan might be a little cheaper and certainly would have fewer headaches.

help... here it is... buy a new 2003 from planet honda get it shipped to your door for a total of 27000 buy new front and rear lights. buy a new front bumper. buy a center counsol and a new radio door. new rear bumper. 04 wing 04 front lip oem sideskirts and you're off... you have the look of an 04 and the feel of an 03... which we have 9k so we're better

edit. ok.... so you have an 04 right.... buy a used s2000 engine... just get one brand new.(you don't know what has been done to it) get a new transmission. new ecu. tranny. and all that other stuff.. and a 9k gauge cluster. it is possible...

if someone puts a supra engine into a rx-7 putting a 2.0 into a 2.2l engine bay should be no problem

Anyone ever tried putting a F20C in a 2004 S2K (in NA)? If so whats needed? I know thats what they have in Japan still but did they get the other mods in Japan for 2004 that we got? Like the transmission, suspension mods and new wheels? I hope I don't get flamed and remember I am just curious...
I don't know of anyone who has done this, and I'm not sure exactly why anyone would go to such lengths.

I understand what your saying I was just curious. Also wouldn't be cheaper to jsut put the 2.0 in the 2004 instead of doing everything to the 2003?

You don't know for sure which way is cheaper until you really start analyzing the entire project. I assume you would sell your F22C1 + transmission to offset the cost of the F20C? What is the market like for used F22s? How much would it cost you to buy a used F20 from a junkyard? What would the labor cost to do the engine swap? If you just replaced bumpers, headlights, interior parts, and wheels on a MY03, you could do much of the work yourself; however the engine swap would demand some specialized equipment.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking... Why?
