Does the interior still have the nice leather smell?

What is the best method to apply 303?
I've noticed if I spray my car after a car wash that it can leave residue from overspray all over the body. Do you guys apply before/after/in between washing the car?

For me, I apply it after I finish drying my car with a sponge, being very careful not to get it on the paint. I wait for 10-15 mins then go back over it with a damp towel to get what's not absorbed into the top. Seems to work great, except if it rains within a week or so it'll run off on the paint/glass, probably because I didn't get all the excess 303 off.
