Default just got motor delivered back today.....

But it looks like fed ex just destroyed what I put 4000 dollars into. Shipped from laskey and delivered with a broken chan case and a few other drop/fall marks. Anyone know the best way to go about claims for something like this??

Did you inspect it before you signed for it?

wife signed for it. I was at work. she gave me a play by play via voicemail and had mentioned that he dropped it coming out of the truck. It was to well packaged for her to go over it at signing. I would hope that they wouldn't fight something like this. I will ruin their reputation if they do.

I'd call the FedEx number and start the normal claims process. You're in much better shape that you will be able to point to the person that dropped it instead of dealing with the issue of nobody to blame. I doubt you'll have much trouble.

I've had a couple of damage issues with FedEx over the years and they were good about resolving them. UPS was another matter entirely.
