Just got my car back last night!
I got my stage 4 competition clutch(4 puck), 11lbs competition flywheel, hks catback, and Invidia tp.
-First sounds so damn good.
-feels like a damn noob with this clutch, Im really trying to get use to this clutch set up.
-hardly any clutch buzz, when it does you can barely hear it.
-Rev's up really fast.
-Smooth power all the way to 4.5k, lol new clutch so I have to take it easy.
Overall I love the set up but Im embarras to drive off from stop cause I almost, always stall!!! Love the sound of the hks too. Can anyone tell me how to take off with this clutch?

you put a 4 puck clutch on a pretty much stock s2000??? why?
I would think a 6 puck or any other act clutch would be competent enough to handle the power a SC puts down. The only advice I can give you is to just get used to the clutch and rev the car higher than usual to get a better start.

I have the comp lightweight flywheel and stage 3 clutch. It was a bitch to drive at first but after the break it it feels good. Def a little harder on stop starts then the stock but the grabbing power is well worth it. Enjoy it, give it 500 miles for the break in before you jump to any conclusions about the clutch.
Yea my pedal felt weird at first too, I could barely get into first or reverse, I even went back to the place that did the job because I thought something was wrong. They told me to give it a chance and do the 500 miles and ever since it was great. Those first 500 miles suck, best thing to do is shift often. The more you shift the more it helps break it in. If you just drive 500 miles in one gear you pretty much did nothing to break it in. It is all in the engagements and definetly do not go into vtec which is the hardest part because this car makes you want to go to 9k rpms.
