Treat it well during break-in and it will treat you good for life.

Make sure to check your engine oil level periodically and top off with 10W-30. I prefer Castrol.

Thanks everyone. That 600 mark is already killin me, but is much too important to ignore. Any other tips for breaking in the car?

 

If I ever get a new one, I'm going to be awfully hard on it from the get go. My father has had some pretty good sports cars to this point (Porsches and NSXs mostly) and he drove all of them like he stole them (right off the lot). Nary a problem in any of them, in terms of the engine. Now, clutches....that's a different story.
