Hey guys!
Well as some of you know I had an amazing day behind the wheel of my rented S2K yesterday.. So good in fact that I realized 6 weeks was just to dang long to wait for mine to come in.. So, I did what any obsessive car fanatic would and got one today!
I'll have to eat a month or so on my current car lease, but hey, the deal was right, and I was anxious!
The info I've gotten on this board over the last few weeks has been invaluable. You guys have been awesome! And I'm am one happy camper!
She's Silver/Blk.. Gorgeous!!

All smiles... Even if I have to keep her under 5500 for the next 540 miles.. haha...
btw, she had 13 miles when I took delivery.. Not bad. Funny, they insisted that I take it for a test drive. The funny part is, I didn't really want to.. I had just driven one 150 miles yesterday and wanted to get right to the paper work..

When you said you had to "eat" a month on your car lease, did they just let you pay the remaining payments and drop off the keys?

I'm wondering if they will charge an extra fee for early lease terminiation. I'm going to do the same and thinking they'll tack on an extra service fee since I do not plan on purchasing another GMAC model again (unless they get me a Z08).

 

Congrats on the purchase. Make sure you check the local So Cal board for things going on. I also was forced to take a test drive when I bought my car way back in 1999. It had 14 miles when I took delivery.

Congratulations! I just got mine yesterday and I'm confident your having just as much fun as I am. I've been working overtime coming up with reasons to run errands (and take the "long-cut" getting there).
