Default Just got my s2k!!!

I bought a 2001 s2000 two weeks ago.
This car is amazing. The 9000 rpm is totally adrenalizing.
Im no stranger to tuning, and Im excited about the possibilities the s2k has to offer.
Im sure you'll be hearing from me in the future...

Tell me you broke the car in properly before seeing that 9k light up?

Being no stranger to tuning, I'm sure the guy had the courtesy to wait! Hell, I went through the first 600 baby miles in 2 days in rainy weather! 9K RPM can sure put some fierce determination in one's step (or throttle foot).

It was an 01 MY so was probably used already and thus broken in.

You will find that this car's engine is already fairly "tuned" from the factory. If you want some serious HP increases, skip the dubious improvements such as Cold Air Intake and go straight to forced air induction. Anything short of that will leave you wanting.

Hey, thanks for the heads up on going for the FI. My last car was a 2002 Stratus R/T coupe that I had pulled just about every trick available on. It was all Mitsubishi, though- very little Dodge influence. Despite the sweat I put in it, I had no problem leaving it behind for the S2K. I got a nice deal, and couldnt refuse.
Just to ease all of your minds, I bought the car with 20k miles on it, so I wasted no time getting to the nitty gritty. It did have a nice set of Voxx 18" wheels on it already, and they look really good. Other than that, it appears to be totally stock.
