Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of deals (lot more than usual) in the classifieds where products are being price to move?

Almost seems like a lot of people are deciding to sell their big ticket items for $, presumably to pay off credit card debt. Not judging, but a thought that crossed my mind.

 

We already have a similar thread about 2008 Z06s with less mileage on the odometer than most of our S2Ks being sold for less than $60K.
In the July 9, 2008 edition of the Southern California AutoTrader magazine, there was a 1999 Ferrari F355 being sold for $95,000. It still hasn't been sold, though, and I believe the owner dropped the price from $95K to about mid-$80K.

 

We had a guy here in New Orleans selling a 1997 F355 coupe for around $45,000 with only 30K miles.... I'm in the market for an E46 M3 (which are available for under $30k with only ~25K miles!) and I was **THIS** close to selling the S2000, dumping the search for the M3 and picking us that Ferrari.

BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE MAINTENANCE COSTS ON THOSE THINGS!!!

What do I want this month, medical insurance or my 35k mile inspection for the Ferrari?

And there is a 98 Viper GTS for sale in the classified forum right now for $38K.... CRAZY good condition and VERY low miles!
