than any other MYxx?

Seems at least 30% of all the posters have "2002" listed as their model year. Maybe I am just imagining things because I have a MY02.

Maybe a lot of people finally gave in during 2002 lol, plus they could finally get the glass window?!

perhaps. Normally a new car that is introduced sells more the first and second year of it's inception because well, it's the "New Hottness!"

I do love the glass rear window.

I'm thinking that people hanging around here, learning about the S2Ks (ie. rear glass) has encouraged people to buy 02's over an 00 or 01. I was going to buy one of those but hung around here a bit first and decided on an 02 because of reading things about the crappy rear plastic.

I still see plenty of 00 and 01s around the city

I just think the people that can't afford a new one, or simply want an ap1 would rather have a MY02 or MY03 cause of the glass rear window, and they end up buying MY02's because they're cheaper. That was my case...

Plus from what I've seen, a lot of them are very well maintained.

You guys are probably right. When I was searching for AP1's I wasn't even looking at 00 and 01's for that reason. I like the chrome ring 02-03 tails better, glass window, better oil jets for the valvetrain, leather console instead of that nasty looking carpet covered 00-01
