Default is it just me or...what?

i like to park away from other cars whenever i go places, whenever possible.

but why is it that everytime i get back to the car, no matter how long or short i've been away, there is some asswipe who parks their car so unbelievably close to mine i have to tip-toe like a ballerina sideways to squeeze into my car. (not to mention how stupid i look doing this tricky maneuver!)

and then i look around, and there's a bunch of other parking spots that are open... my first urge is to kick in the door of the other car (for parking close but more for making me do the damn ballerina thingy), but i've yet to do this.

anyone else have this happen or is it just me? what could possibly be the thought process behind the people who do this?

Easy solution. Next time leave their door a huge dent with a kick before you drive off.

I do the same thing and I have come to the conclusion that other people believe that our cars are lonely out by them selves and feel it is their civic duty to park next to us. For what ever reason the ones that park beside mine are always junkers.

It happens to me all the time when I go to Wal-Mart. I try to park as far as I can so my car doesn't get hit by another car. Next thing you know it... a big truck or some raggity car parks next to mine. Some BS!

Try parking only a few spots out from the herds. Then you're not as much of a target for those d-bags.

I figured out people are attracted to other cars when parking no matter how far or close.
