Just picked up my 02 S2000 today!!!
Today at 5:00 I became the proud owner of a Sebring Silver S2000! What a fantastic car! I sold my boxster two weeks ago and have been looking for the perfect replacement. I stopped by my local Honda Dealer hoping to get a look at the S2000 and they had a red and black one on the sales floor. I almost bought the red until I heard another sales rep mention they had a silver on the way from California. (I LOVE black cars but they are a little to high maintenance for me) Anyway I decided to wait and I sure am glad I did! This is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen! The red leather and new interior trim, especially the glass window are a tremendous improvement not only over the 01 but to my boxster as well. I bought the car for sticker, which was painful, but at least my dealer is not like all of the other hacks out there! They were very accomodating... I was offered a test drive, given a soft drink while I discussed the deal, and received a nice follow-up call the next day. It didn't take long to make my decision, about five minutes after I left the lot
so when the dealer called the next day I immediately offered a deposit. They said it would not be necessary and said they would call once the car arrived. Anyway the car arrived today and not only did they have all of the paperwork ready, they also called my insurance agent, did a very thorough walk around, and took a picture of me with my new baby. I have to tell you that Buckeye Honda in Lancaster, Ohio is a first rate dealer! OK so back to the car... This thing is in many ways surperior to my boxster. The power steering is very well done, the xenon headlights are very cool, the glass window is awesome, and most of all the way the car shifts better than any car I have ever driven! I can't stop going to the garage to look at it!!! Anyway, if any of you out there are shopping and want a great experience they do still have the red and black available and they won't try and jack you up... So with all that said I really look forward to posting here and I will definitely give a detailed comparison between my new baby and the boxster once I get past the break in period
Take Care Guys!
PS I'll post a few pics tomorrow!

Rod, congrats on the new S. Your the first former Boxter owner I've heard about
. How was maintainence on the Boxter? I test drove a Boxter not too long ago and I have to say that it was a nice car. I liked the engine sound and the fact that it was coming from behind.
Have fun with the new car!

Congrats on your purchase. I also own the '02 silver, but with the black interior. My friend recently bought a silver Boxster and it just doesn't compare. I too love both looking at it in the garage, as well as pulling it out for a drive. Just wait until it is broken in. Then the fun really starts....
