Default Just a query..

I was thinking to myself about how long it takes to get any aftermarket parts from any of the sponsors. I was also thinking what if they all combined forces and what not then maybe they could have some of the parts in stock and we wouldn't have to wait weeks upon weeks for parts. Just a thought.. lol.. what a boring sunday night.. -gage

some of the sponsors do work together to get parts quickly and efficiently for each other. however, to keep stock of possibly unwanted parts or out-of-trend parts is very difficult and costs a lot of capital to purchase and to store the products.

I think most of the complaints about shipments for particular parts are what I'd call "now-customers" - customers who want the parts now, no matter what it is. and unfortunately, those now-customers will pay up big bucks to get the parts air freighted over from Japan, and then will complain why it costs so much more or as equal to the other vendors on the site. its a real headache. but really - patience is everything and sometimes the hottest deal doesn't come with guarantees or any service at all.

but if you really wanted sponsors to stock up on parts - then add in another 30-40% to each part you are thinking about getting - because that's what it would cost, just like any brick and mortar store, to sell and maintain stock.
