When driving around in underground parking lots, or multi tier parking lots, curving your s2000 (stook) around the tight corners, do you keep it in 1st or 2nd gear ? Either ascending or descending ?

I'm always in first.

 

I keep it in first to let people and vehicles know that something is coming around the corner.

 

I usually keep it in first and wind out the engine. In the parking structure that I used to park in, they had stop signs at the top of every other floor, so I would shift into 2nd once in a while on some parts of the straigthaway.

it's a car - you should have no problems being in a certain gear for an unspecified period of time.

in rush hour traffic, i've been in second gear for miles on end...
