Sorry man but not happening. Cool idea though.

The only place I am cold when I have the top down but windows up is the back of my neck. Simply wearing a hoodie or throwing on a scarf takes care of that.

As for the heated seats I have seen a kit for sale for the S2K. I briefly looked at it but decided against it for now. Since then however I picked up an MDX with heated seats and spent some time in my buddies SLK350. I love heated seats and will be looking at it again. If only I could get the Benz AirScarf system. That is really nice.

Heater is good enough down to 40°F. Top of my head is all that gets cold and a hat takes care of that.

Many moons ago my buddy and I were driving back from Montreal to SoCal. It was quite cold but the weather was beautiful as we zipped across the desert so the top was down. He just pulled his down-filled mummy bag out of it's stuff sack, crawled into it, closed it mostly around his nose, and told me how nice and warm he was. I was wearing jeans, a down jacket, and a hat. The heater was mostly full bore, and it was great! Cheeks got a little cold, though.

I just bought a 12V electric blanket at Costco. My wife will love it.

Can't do that! There's more than 19.99 in materials.

It's vinyl or canvas insulated with quilt batting and fleece and then bound around all the edges.

but thinking about this.... is a great idea. would have been even greater if the driver side
has one, or can it be used on both sides?
It can be used on both sides.

I have a CR so I don't have to worry about this.

I will comment on the price, though, by saying:

DAMN!

I'd rather buy a blanket.
