I don't understand how some people can't understand this. I parked in the parking lot in front of this restaurant i went tonight. I come back to find that some douchebag with greasy fingers touched my rear trunk. I don't know what they were trying to do, either to just piss me off or to feel how smooth the paint was. Either way, it is a pain in the a$$ since I just waxed the car yesterday. Am I overreacting or would you guys be just as pissed off as I am?

Maybe the guy was watching that Maxima commercial one too many times and thought touching your car would bring it to life

Seriosuly, its something that baffles me. Its fine if you dont care about your car, but keep your mits off mine.

I only own a Civic Si but I feel the same way. In fact, I don't even like to drive anyone around in my Si, I use my beater car. The Si is sacred; my personal special possession that I can keep pristine.

I guess that makes me selfish, but it's nice to have a nice machine to take care of and keep beautiful.

I can't touch paint, especially someone else's paint. I was at another owner's house the other day working on yet another owner

or even steal the the car and key the antenna.

and i'm annoyed by stuff like that too, but it always could be worse than admiring it with finger prints. i know when i work on my car, i'm always in sweats and have no metal on me other than my wedding ring. same goes for anyone helping me.

I have said this before, and I'll say it again. There are three rules that every man should live by.

1) Don't touch another man's woman.

2) Don't touch another man's car.

3) Don't touch another man's food.

Do that, and life will be good.

When I had my ITR, I had gone downtown one night. I came back to my car to find a greasy handprint on my windshield and several large dings in my hood. It was as if someone decided to sit, walk or fight on my hood. I was pissed!

I always try to park away from other cars/people and areas where people may have contact with my car. And no matter what I do, some jackass always manages to ding, dent, scratch or do something else to my cars.

F'ers!
