I dont shiv a git as long as it starts.
I have had keys cut to fit two vehicles. Then I did pay attention to key orientation.
Ranger = notch up in Ignition, notch down in door
Sable = notch up in Ignition, notch up in door

No worries Andre, your not alone on this one - I'm actually that weird enough that I make sure I insert my key with the "S2000" shield facing me. Stupid, I know, but true.
Believe it or not, one of these odd "How do you.....get out of your car/start the car/whack off in your car...... " questions taught me how to get out of the car properly without damagin the side bolsters. I had no idea that a specific portion of the sill was to be used as a "palm rest" and it sure as hell helps.
