I know this is an old thread but I'm curious if it wasn't Christian Hill aka Adelaide Automotive LLC that you got them from. When looking for key covers I found his site which is the only one so far to use the term "keycaps." http://store.adelaideautomotive.com/index.html

If this is the right one, how are yours holding up?

I got mine but only got 2 instead of 3. I've left the driver's side unplugged,,, just in case it needs to be valet'ed or something

Just FYI: When I made my own from the instructions above, the paint cracked after a few months. I made a second batch, which cracked again.

I figured it was time to stop fooling with it and order from bumperplugs.com. They look better (sit more flush with the door handle), and have lasted longer than my DIY'ers.

There's a set coming to me from Christian Hill now. And as aside there's also a member on S2KCA making them for a group buy.

PS Oh and Hill says he wasn't the member selling at Fall Colors

^ Yes, you just put it in. I've had great service from bumperplugs.com, the initial NFR plugs they had sent me had manufacturing problems. I've been sent two replacement sets for free and they've been great ever since.

Got some from bumperplugs too. Makes the car look slightly better.

Pricey though, but I was too lazy to make my own.

I dug this up from my files. Hopefully you can read it. It describes how you can make them yourself using some plugs (about $.40-.80 each) from Lowes (similar to Home Depot) and some touch up paint ($5-$6). PM me if you can't read this and include your email address and I will email you a better / more readable version ....

Lowes or HomeDepot , Nissan - Push Fasteners, UPC number is 008236715958, Lot# HO1140159; H#881204.

yeah i did this and it works great.

Bump for bumperplugs.com. Great service. I had the paint come off my keyhole plugs and they sent me new ones right away. No questions asked.
