Do all S2000's come with a Key plate as indicated in my owner's manual? What is this key plate. I did not get one with the car.

Referring to the Canadian owner's manual ' you should have received a key number plate with your keys. You will need this key number if you ever have to get a lost key replaced. Keep the plate stored in a safe place.' According to this statement, I am wondering why would they put the key plate on the key ring. If you lose your keys, wouldn't you lose the key plate as well if it is on the same key ring?

The manual also gives a picture of a little plate as well as the three keys (2 Masters and one valet key, which I also didn't get

I hope other Canadian owners can respond to this and let me know whether they received this key plate.
