You should be able to feel an exhaust leak (do not touch the exhaust). There should be a concentration of hot air under a specific section of the car.

From the video, it doesn't really sound like knocking (especially when you were near the engine, usually any knocking noises get louder)

thanks for the advice I’ll try this out tmr and see what I find. I know the gasket is brand new so idk why it would be leaking maybe the headers aren’t on tight enough or something. Also just head the head rebuilt with new guides and valves and the rod bearings replaced less than 200 miles ago

it is in the works to bring it to them they’re just 50 miles away so it’s not that easy to bring it down there since I don’t have a truck and trailer. I drove it to work today 20 miles away and I think it’s the same as yesterday if it was knocking I’m sure it would’ve gotten worse by the time I got to work.

that’s me. It still makes the startup noise it just wasn’t making this specific noise before at least not loud enough to be noticeable. That’s why I was on the knocking side considering what’s also going on Tibet the car and the history. But I drove it to work today and it didn’t get worse I feel like if it was knocking it would’ve been pretty bad by the time I got to work(20 miles away)

yes I know the difference lol. Idk if you’re referring to the startup noise or the noise in this video or what you’re trying to get at with this comment.
